We're excited to announce we're taking our athlete support global with a new online short course, created specifically for elite athletes. Delivered in collaboration with Oxford's just-launched Climate Leadership Research Centre, the program brings together climate science, storytelling, leadership and management expertise, with practical tools to help athletes identify where they can have the greatest impact — from communicating with fans and the media, to influencing clubs, governing bodies and executive leadership.
The goal is to equip athletes with a deeper understanding of climate change and the ways to take action that make sense for their passions, backgrounds and careers. We couldn't be more excited that Oxford sees sport's unique ability to connect with people across communities, cultures and political divides, and can't wait to roll this out.
The course will run across six sessions online, and expressions of interest are open now, with dates for the first intake announced soon. If you're interested in learning more, Oxford has just published a Q&A on the Climate Leadership Centre's website, but for the latest, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter.
